If Bernard Jackman doesn’t get in the team to play Italy on Saturday, I think I will throw my hat at the whole thing and jump firmly, feet first on the anti-O’Sullivan bandwagon !

Team to be named later today …

* UPDATE – What do you do if a team is playing like shite and gets knocked out of the World Cup in the first round – why, pick them again of course ! *

Ireland team: Girvan Dempsey, Andrew Trimble, Geordan Murphy, Brian O’Driscoll, Gordon D’Arcy, Ronan O’Gara, Eoin Reddan, Marcus Horan, Rory Best, John Hayes, Donncha O’Callaghan, Malcolm O’Kelly, Simon Easterby, David Wallace, Denis Leamy.

Before you know it, you’ll be in a country where rugby isn’t just a sport, but a national religion/obsession. It’s almost beyond belief who involved the average Kiwi gets in the sport…

Don’t know if you’d be interested in contributing to my Sports blog? I’m stealing all of Gerry’s contributors to the RWC blog he ran, trying to get it up and running in time for the Six Nations to kick off.

Posts don’t have to be rugby-related, anything at all Irish and sporty will do. If you’re interested you can sign up here: http://www.ontheditch.net/wp-login.php?action=register

if not, feel free to delete this spam đŸ™‚
