Just a quickie to tell people about the new Chapter’s book store.  For a long time it was the refuge of many’s the bargain book hunter and book worm (myself included) at it’s rickety old store on Middle Abbey Street, Dublin.

Glad to report that the store in its entirety and then some, has moved to a spanking new premises on Parnell Street West, just opposite the entrance to the Ilac shopping centre.  Go and check it out – its so big , you could fish in it !  And now the books are new (as well as a large second hand floor) and a reasonable amount cheaper than its main O’Connell Street rival.

one thing i loved about dublin–so many bookstores, and they’re all crowded. i love a city that reads.
