A wee Irish joke

I thought this was funny ! In Ireland, I suppose we’d substitute a Kerryman for Mickey and Tommy …

Mickey meets Tommy one day in his back garden and says to him, “What are you doing Tom ?” Tommy replies. “I’m building a rocket to send to the sun.”

“Don’t be daft!” says Paddy, “Sure it’ll burn up before it gets there.”
“Arra for Jaysis sake Paddy, I’ve thought of that already” says Tommy  “I’m launching it at night !”
